The latest version of PFrank is
This page is used to alert people to known bugs that they should be aware of and any behaviour
changes between releases.
Alerts have been issued for the following versions:
-
2.24-2.25 - Minor. The Right Click context menu feature was broken in these releases. This
only affects new
installs of PFrank. If PFrank was already installed before 2.23, then there will be no problem.
There are several work-around options. Please email
me regarding the options
if you need
to have this feature before it is fixed in the
next release.
-
2.22 - Minor. It has been reported that when only the old and new columns are enabled before
upgrading to
version 2.22, that the new name column is lost and replaced with a column called 'unused'. This is due to a column upgrade that was
introduced in 2.22 and only seems to happen when only the old and new name columns are enabled. To fix this simply go to the
column configuration panel in the options window, enable any other column (press apply), then disable
the column (press apply). After that the new name column will be fine.
-
2.21 - Minor. Behaviour changes only. File properties modifications and comment editing
is not longer available via the right-click of the mouse over the preview list; these features are now activated via the
new 'Mode' menu on the main window. Some keyboard shortcuts have been reorganized as a result of the new modes and associated
new features.
-
2.17-2.19 - Major. Bug with rescan command on Detailed Information (DI) Window.
This also prevented drag'n drop from working on the DI Window. There was also an upgrade problem with version 2.19.
-
2.16 - Minor. With this version could no longer use drag'n drop to drag names into
the sample preview panel of the main window.
-
2.08 - Minor. 2 Bugs were introduced in 2.08. These did
not exist beforehand.
-
One of them affects the date formatter. The month calculation is offset
by +1; to compensate, just set the 'month offset' parameter to -1.
-
The other bug is that the specialized scans are disabled.
-
Fixed in 2.09.
